
A little "behind the scenes" magic
A good friend of mine, Steve Ryder , made the mask you see pictured above, out of latex. Dirt was thrown on the clothing to give it an aging, dirty effect. The hands you see pictured had peanut butter, mixed with red food coloring, spread over them, and then were airbrushed with latex paint. We would then rip the latex to expose the peanut butter, making it look like muscle. The below picture is of Steve Ryder utilizing the same makeup techniques, but with a different costume.
